Wheelset pumps - supply of hydraulic on-board energy storage systems
Wheelset pumps convert the rotating drive movement of a wagon axle into a straight-line pump movement and thus supply the oil pressure for the on-board energy storage.
In the development of our wheelset pumps, knowledge from years of practical rail operations and gearbox manufacturing was used. The robust piston pump, in which the highly stressed rotating components are caught in roller bearings, is lubricated in its pump housing by gear oil. An elastic coupling and special pressure caps are available for mounting.
